Good to see the handful of GA Boys and Girls teams representing in the top 20. I guess this is reflective of good high school programs. I was fully expecting dominance from the west coast and maybe northeast states. I am just trying to understand the disconnect between good high school soccer, the churning out of good, well-developed club players and their trajectory to an even higher level of play. I must say that my son who is playing at Brookwood (V) has really improved in terms of his work ethic on the field. A marked improvement from his club play last fall. Also the fact that when you play with guys who are stronger and better than you, you try to raise your game as well. Many HS/States play in the Fall, especially northeast, but still good to see GA represented regardless.
