Would GA soccer really require Athena And Classic teams to try to reschedule this late in season?? There is nowhere to out these games!

I'm guessing there are some weekday night games in our girl's futures! LOL! I'm thinking we need a dome at NSA! Maybe a change to some type of water sport.

Spring soccer In Atlanta is becoming a joke. Making up Athena and Classic games is getting tough. Very little available field space.

Kind of same question as posted earlier, anyone with any experience like this. If teams cannot agree to a make up date, due to any various number of reasons, at what point will GA Soccer assign make up dates? Would they let games not be played, how would that work with teams playing different numbers of games and deciding Promotion/ relegation?

They need to start front-loading the schedules more -- two games every weekend for the first few weeks. That will leave more time for make-up games at the end of the season.

Agree. Every sat and Sunday there should be scheduled games and at least one Friday night game.

It's weird that some teams have 5 games the first few weeks while some only have a single game. I think our u13 premier girls in the Fall didn't have a game until the 4th or 5th week in the season. We've got 5 games left in 4 weeks. Some teams have 7 games left....will be tough especially since there are no guarantees that we won't see more rain outs. If fact, it's probable.

I believe in prior seasons, if teams can't agree on a reschedule date, they get a Did Not Play on the schedule. That may have to happen, especially if teams are three hours away from each other and can't find a common Saturday or Sunday.

The problem comes in not only finding open field on common dates, but fielding a full team each game. In the Spring so many are involved in end of the school year activities which are prescheduled, and sometimes are graded for school. Also if your coach coaches another team..... Fugeddaboutit
