I think something isn't right with the thinking of the UFA leadership...

Inter does not yet have a fee schedule for 2019-2020 because they haven't been determined by the clubs "finance team". Anyone here on that team?
Can anyone share what the fees were last season? Thanks!

Thanks! Might be waiting to get the exact cost to go to turf. I am sure they will pass some of that cost to the parents. Hopefully it doesn't go up by much

maybe real issue is with the parents who are willing to pay As another poster said...alternatives? Supply and demand is likely a bit at work here. It is the biggest club that is not super close to the metropolis of Atlanta. Many people are choosing UFA Forsyth over a smaller, weaker, or limited club that is even further away from ATL or nearby to UFA. Many of those parents will say it is worth their money to not be in the car for an extra 45 minutes per day minimum. That is our reasoning...yeah it is $400 more than Tophat (plus out of county fees) for the higher levels but it would take us an extra hour to get to Tophat (or Concorde). It would take a while to get to AFU. It would take a while to get to GSA.

$2300 + $350(out of county fees) puts you well over $2600 to play SCCL 2. Behind DA, behind NPL, behind SCCL 1 at Norcross, all to go play at Disney(maybe) and at GSA(maybe) to close out the season. Yes I still think I will pass

Yes I still think I will pass We are not playing SCCL 2, plus I am not sure how they plan to apply the out of County fee but they said $150 this year. Plus add in all of the gas for the year and I think it would be cheaper still or a wash...I also think my time is worth WAY MORE than $600 or even $1000. We are talking a whole year of taking 1-2 hours more out of my day 4 days per week minimum many time 6 days. Let's do the math on the gas alone. 2 gallons of gas per day to go to Tophat instead (that is a minimum since sitting in traffic burns more gas). Let's say $5 per day. 4 days per week. 4 weeks per month. 4.5 months in fall and you are already over $300 there just for fall and not including game days...costs to play are not just club fees. If you are driving farther you need to include that into your analysis.

For SCCL Tier 1 curious which teams are where. If out of Norcross then cost will be a couple hundred cheaper than fowler.
For SCCL Premier, that seems to be provided by the Red Team (2nd team excluding DA) at Fowler (Premier is in NPL)
**So cost to play SCCL Premier (2) is more expensive in general to playing SCCL.

2019 – 2020 Alpharetta Ambush Soccer Club Fees For the 4th year in a row, Alpharetta Ambush Soccer Club and the City of Alpharetta are going to keep the base fees that make up the Ambush annual fee the same for U9 to U19. The annual Ambush fee includes the following: City of Alpharetta Fee (Resident and Non-Resident), Director of Coaching Fee, Ambush Club Operational Fee, Head Coach License Level/Training Fee, No. of Nights Practicing and Team Camp fee. If your address, head coach, head coach's license and number of nights practice all remain the same from last year to this year, your fees will stay the same. If any of these three components change, your annual fee could increase or it could decrease. Again, all base fees will remain unchanged for the 4th year in a row.
2019 -2020 Jr Academy, Academy, Select, and National League Fee Schedule:
U8 Jr Academy (Annual fee for Fall and Spring) Resident $700 (Alpharetta only) Non Resident $850 The U8 Jr Academy fee includes ALL fees including the uniform kit.
U9 – U14 Resident Range from $1030 to $1510 Non Resident Range from $1240 to $1720 This annual fee is for two seasons (Fall and Spring) Actual fee for each team depends on Coach’s License Level, No. of Nights Practice and Residency with exact amounts determined after coach assignment and team formation. At Ambush, age group and level of play do not dictate the amount of fees. Ambush coaches are equally incented to coach any age team at any level. We have found that this is a huge contributor to player development in the early age groups.
U15 – U19 Resident Range from $690 to $930 Non Resident Range from $795 to $1035 This annual fee is for one seasons (Fall ONLY) These age groups mostly play High School soccer and not Club Soccer in the Spring. Actual fee for each team depends on Coach’s License Level, No. of Nights Practice and Residency with exact amounts determined after coach assignment and team formation.
U15 Additional Spring Fee:
In 2017, the United States Soccer Federation changed the birth year cut-off for youth soccer to Jan 1st. In doing so, they left the 8th graders in U15 without a place to play games in the Spring each year. Georgia Soccer created a Spring friendly league and Ambush along with most clubs in Georgia have participated in this friendly season for the last two years. At this point we plan on continuing to do so for 2019. Once High School tryouts have completed (late January), we will open registration for our U15 players who want to play in this Spring Friendly season. Those fees will run consistent with the base fees used to calculate the annual Ambush fee. The Spring Friendly season fee is in addition to the fees list above and will be collected in late January or early February for those participating.

The 05 and 04 Forsyth Girls Red teams and 06 Boys Red are assigned SCCL and Norcross SCCL-P. Also I would check the coaches too and whether the teammates are your child's level or above or below. Unfortunately that is going to be hard to do now with the season over for many.

Depends on the age group. Some SCCL 1 teams were taken from Norcross because they did poorly. Next year depending on how the teams do, they will switch around again. There's no relegation or promotion in SCCL right now, but there will be within the club itself. The cost for SCCL should be the same at both locations if they're training the same amount of time.

Hey UFA, why don't you follow Ambush's lead? If you love Rush so much then why do you want UFA to change their fees? Just stay there and enjoy the ride. Do all big 5 charge more? Yes, but they also offer more. Rush doesn't have DA, ECNL, NPL or SCCL correct? How many of their teams are in NL? If Rush is so great why did their 03 girls implode during tryouts leaving a bunch of girls with no team?
