Did not know if there was a list somewhere. I know they generally don't publish a full coaching list but wondering if there was at least something with DA info.

With the new alliance and success of the SSA 15s, I believe Simon Davey from SSA is coaching the U17s. I know he will be a DA coach of a CF slotted team, just not 100% sure on the age group. This is word of mouth, albeit a reliable source, and I hope that this doesn't cause mass hysteria.

So: SD u15s
Would think Karl Haggon would take the 17s, but maybe I'm crazy and Ken with the 19s?

Current DA coaches listed as Ryan, Karl, James, Nicholas Mantha, Everett Webb, and Ken (with Felipe GK coach).
According to the forum: Ryan is gone, James is gone. I believe Nicholas is North, right? So is he really around as a DA coach? Ken doesn't have the license that DA needs (if I've read comments here correctly).
That leaves, Karl and Webb. Forumites have great things to say about Karl. Any word on Webb?
With u12 gone, there's still 5 DA teams that would need coaches. And is it safe to assume u13 and u14 may be the same coach since you can go back-to-back w/ the schedules?

EW coaching U13 & U14. Good in practice and games. I've heard great things about NM and KH. Only things I've heard about EW haven't been so good... so he will have both DA teams?

Karl is one of the good ones over there for sure!! Don't know EW. But Karl is a quality coach. and of course Felipe is as well.

Yes, Felipe is awesome. Had EW for U12 this year and that is a tough assignment - 24 kids, two teams, one coach. Not every parent can be happy with that situation but the kids responded to him, did well throughout the year, and most importantly, got better as a group and developed individually.

SD will coach the U15 CF DA team. At the risk of doubting your intel, and we will see the official news posted soon, he coached the SSA U15s last year and won the division, so why now coach CF 15s? That doesn't make sense in terms of implementing the new CF/SSA alliance.

Will say I was always anti pool player etc, but really do like the pool 24-26 players at the u12 age group. It really did open doors for many players that otherwise would not have been given the opportunity.

I think you mean SD coached the SSA U14 DA. I don’t know about any U15s he coached last year. It’s not intel, it’s a done deal - now that CF’s season is over, some CF players are already practicing with him. I also know for a fact EW is coaching CF U13 DA next year and it’s all but certain he will have the U14s too, as their schedules are the same, but I will confirm after parent meeting with him tonight.

You are correct about Ryan and James. They are running out of coaches that proper licensing.

Can't be fun at Concorde right now... are they in danger of losing DA, or just not having enough coaches at the moment?

This is where I think the alliance with SSA helps most, and that is with coaches, some with UEFA licenses. Although CF has had more success over the years, in fairly recent history, SSA has acquired a collection of coaches that played and coached in the British Premier League -- including Simon Davey and Kelham O'Hanlon.

I think it is very interesting how much time changes perspectives. 5 years ago with S Davey came to SSA there was a major backlash on the (old) forum about European coaches begin bad for America. SSA has always had a large contigent of coaches from Europe. For the most part the higher ups at SSA havent changed much over the years. The alliance will benefit from this stability. Kudos to S Davey for changing the perspective of SSA and strength of the club.
