Thoughts or discussion on the “delayed offside calls”?
Am I understanding the linemen are being instructed to leave the flag down until the play concludes?

I noticed that too. Also the ARs are miked up. Maybe the VAR booth is whispering in their ear when to raise the flag.

I was SURE it was going to quiet all the arguments... but so far it looks like 2 blown PK calls in the first day of play. <sad face> The announcers seem suspiciously supportive of the VAR calls, too. |

The announcers seem suspiciously supportive of the VAR calls, too. This is something I've noticed also. Like they're told they HAVE TO be on board with whatever decisions the VAR makes. Same goes with some fouls "oh, its an obvious..." |
