Been lurking on this board for awhile and finally decided to sign up.
According to UFA's Facebook page they are still looking for players in the following age groups in Forsyth County.
Girls: U12, U15, U16 and U17
Boys: U14, U17, and U19
My daughter is rostered for the U17 A team, which currently has 16 players. There is supposed to be a U17 C team, but that roster has still not been posted online. My guess is this is where they are still looking to fill spots at the U17 level.

Are they honestly trying to fill teams with rec players from camp? Meanwhile, Ambush and NTH Milton have space on solid Athena teams that won’t roster to 24. Smh.

According to their coaching projections, they are supposed to have U16 and U17 girls C teams. Neither are currently listed on the rosters released, which is why I think they are trying to fill these teams. I know the U17 C team lost 4-5 players from last year because I spoke to a couple of their parents at tryouts last week.

A few of the U16 girls decided to go to FC Sudamerica. Hopefully the change will be good for them.
Almost half of the team from the prior year U15 Black team decided not to continue to play.

They are saying that if any players would like to be evaluated to go do it at the camp since the coaches are already there. Not sure what teams you are talking about rostering 24 players? |

Wasn’t there a post earlier that UFA U12 has 3-4 teams? Why the need for more players?

Wasn’t there a post earlier that UFA U12 has 3-4 teams? Why the need for more players? Maybe they just need 1 or 2 players who knows. Maybe the last team needs a few more players or they wont be able to field a team at all and then those kids won't have a team. |
