Is that the Premier team or the platinum team? Or... another way to say it... SSA or Concorde team?

Good Job and Good Luck this week - it is well deserved and they should be very proud of themselves! This team had not gotten the attention they deserved because they were always hailed as 2nd to the SSA premier team who fizzled out at the end of the season. MM stayed humble all season and continued to build a team that others thought would crumble when his "stars" were pulled out from under him by Garvin (BTW who lost pretty badly in San Diego). The other 05 team that should have an honorable mention is the 05 Santos team who also did very well this season. Congrats to both 05 teams!

If you look at the CF older age groups (01, 02, etc) big time D1 commits, a majority were with MM from U9-13. These age groups have a disproportional amount of homegrown kids--which are all his. He's always been a great technical trainer and has matured into a very good overall coach.

Whether I drive that distance to lose by 1 or by 10 is of no consequence. I also think they should still be proud that they made the final four. Finally, I have seen closer games that were a 5-0 scoreline than a 1-0 scoreline. The score doesn't always tell the story.

I watched the 1st half and bits and pieces of the second of the CF 05 game on Youtube. PDA looked a little better but it definitely didn't look or feel like a 5-0 game. PDA dominated 1st 20 minutes and went up 2-0, but CF had the run of play in their favor for last 20 of first half. Had half a dozen good chances but put them all right at the keeper (aside from 1 off the post). Don't remember PDA getting a shot in last 20 of fist half. Not sure what happened in 2nd half. Didn't see any of the goals cause was multi-tasking. I know it was 3-0 with 10 left when I stopped watching altogether.

It always amazes me how some games can be so one sided and be close on the score line and others can be back and forth yet the scoreline shows dominance. Sometimes luck plays in as well. Gotta love the beautiful game!

NO one anticipated that they would make it this far. MM & team stayed humble and worked in the lab quietly. PDA was a great team and came with the heat early on in the game. CF settled in later in the half and starting dominating, but just couldn't hold them. They had a point to prove and close out with a victory against Heat FC with a dominant 3-1 victory.

It was a tough early pill to swallow for them, but they came back stronger to get 3rd. They will take it and nothing to be ashamed of. They were never thought of to make it this far at all. Truly testament of their strength and character!
