I'm hearing from friend in Orlando that all of the FL teams are cancelling trips to ATL and/or Birmingham this weekend due to Hurricane Dorian. To be made up in June.

I can believe the first part, and personally I think it is a good idea to cancel based on information known as of now.
As for not making up until June, that seems a bit odd. I would think there would be plenty of other opportunities in the next 9 months to reschedule the games.

I would think they are factoring in schedules and commitments for coaching staff, some of who have other non-ECNL teams and school teams to manage along with players who also have school team obligations also...

I think it's because for the older kids (U15 and up) you run into the problem that FL kids play high school in the winter so no games November - February whereas GA/AL/TN all play high school in the spring.

Don't TN schools play in fall?

We are supposed to play 3 FL teams this weekend - haven’t heard of any cancellations yet.
Hope we get the games in, but understand they have bigger things to worry about...

No FL teams are playing this weekend. So you are either cancelled or, as another poster suggested, playing some ATL teams instead.

This happened last year also. We never got our games played, but ended up with draws for those games. They were afraid of getting stuck on the road or somewhere without power. Smart move.
