What are the average salaries for coaches these days?
Academy Coaches? Select Coachs? SCCL? ECNL? DA?
What about DOC? Technical Director?
I know it can be all over the map and be based on how many teams you have, what level, etc.

I would estimate the average Academy, Select and SCCL coaches make between $500-800 a month per team. Some of the top ones making a good bit more.
ECNL and DA are more likely to be directors or full time staff than lower leagues, but again those coaches I'd think make closer to $1,500 - $2,000. Not as sure on this figure.

As a club coach I can guarantee you we aren’t making $1500+ a month for one team. Most Select coaches are about $800-$1200 per team, depending on License and experience. They are the top coaches in DA/ECNL making closer to $2K but they’re also 12 month employees getting paid as Directors and what not too. The old estimates before payroll days now was $40 for academy, $50-60 for Athena/Classic level, $70-90 for A License, or regional team like old RPL/ECNL/SCCL. This was per player per month for training fees, so 4 months in Fall and 4 in Spring. And yes most of us put in all this work and hours and training for that little money. Look at your fees, look at small clubs fees that tell you where your money is going. Majority of it is Refs, next coaches, field maintenance, field upgrades and then those US Soccer and GA Soccer fees.

Kudos to you then. Originally I had a 10K as a base number but rounded up to 1K a month. I think that would be a minimum at the big clubs.

And yet the clubs are non-profits and the big ones have $$$ in the club's savings accounts?? Actually a lot of clubs have moved out of non-profit status and into for profit status.

Are coaches still contractors or are they employees now? Thought I remembered some hubbub about IRS and youth footy a while back.
