Is there a minimum license that ECNL and DA coaches need to have?

I would hope so, but on many of the club sites - I don't see much listed. Credentials aside, they should relegate coaches who do not perform well. I've seen the full gamut - some really great coaches, and some that should be coaching a rec. team. It's too expensive and time consuming for the latter, and frankly unacceptable.
I would start with asking your club ECNL Director, or contact ECNL National Staff
• ECNL Commissioner: Jen Winnagle • Member Services Manager: Kristin Brunner

Besides Haggon and since Austin left, what credentials Does CF have?
I'm gonna take a higher elevation and say, credentials don't many anything if a coach is a coach but we do know some of the higher level coaches at Concorde and it's sad! And, there are some great coaches at CF also, but some really really bad ones also.

The clubs should really encourage their coaches to pursue higher-level licenses.

DA requires at least one coach to have an A license and any other coaches working towards their A. Though we all know just cuz you have an A doesn’t mean you’re a good coach esp if they got their A many years ago.

Though we all know just cuz you have an A doesn’t mean you’re a good coach esp if they got their A many years ago. All true but the real clarification on the A license is that the person acting as the Technical Director for the DA program is the only one required to have the A license. In the future, maybe as early as next year, Technical Directors or heads of the Development Academy for a club, will be required to have the Academy Director License. This is an additional course only available to A licensed coaches. There is the equivalent for folks who run MLS Development Academies, sorry the name currently escapes me, but it's the course that collaborates with the FFF...
