The first and only official Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro Residency program in the world.. The expertise of Paris Saint-Germain is now accessible in a Pro Residency Academy in the U.S. At the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro Residency, we offer youth soccer players (U13 – U19) the excellence of European soccer in the United States, paired with an outstanding academic curriculum, in the unmatchable location of South Florida. residency.psgacademyusa.com/about-us/Guess how much it costs to tryout? Guess how much it cots to attend the 10-Month Residential program?

Damn that actually looks like a great deal. $80K for school, room, board and training. I mean isn’t a Lovett/Westminster/Pace tuition like $30K for one year and that’s commuter. Darlington’s boarding school is like $55 a year. So for the PSG name and it being in Florida sounds like a helluva deal and experience.

Here I was thinking IMG Academy at $79.900 for soccer was a steal. At least you get the prestigious name of PSG and the added bonus of attending the very popular "How to faux fake a foul, taught by the man himself - Neymar. Now IMG does have an actual hotel on site www.imglegacyhotel.com so they might just get the edge but what do I know...

The first and only official Paris Saint-Germain Academy Pro Residency program in the world.. Guess where the Location is ? First it was Weston and then Inter-Miami was able to recruit whole teams en-mass leading to Inter-Miami teams being called Weston 2.0. So if PSG-Miami were to recruit whole teams en-mass, would that then be called Weston 3.0 🙄🤔🙄

I remember thinking IMG was a rip off (if you are paying full price and not on scholarship). Private school IS EXPENSIVE, but in most places not more money than the most exclusive colleges and universities in the country. The Ivy schools don't cost over $80K like this program does. I truly wonder how many people will bite on this. Maybe the local program is not that pricey and maybe they give need based scholarships (I hope so). What league will they play in? Crazy.

Nope no sarcasm. This actually seems like a great deal if you have a top notch player who wants to go all in on soccer and do the professional route. It’s a boarding school, with what I assume excellent tutors/education and you get the PSG soccer program. Like one poster said it’ll probably lead to nearly guaranteed spots on Inter Miami’s Academy as well as a handful of European and South American clubs.

So I researched this boarding private school and it is 65k for the school and boarding there. The day student cost is about 35k. So the PSG thing is only a little over 15k so not much more than regular DA when you include travel. Based on family that live there the school is well regarded. I do wonder if it is worth it for those boys that are going to DA MLS programs for free. For 6 years you are investing nearly half a million dollars. It is a big risk that one injury can destroy.
