It takes like 2 years just to get the qualifying done, right?
Also, FIFA is exploring making the womens world cup every 2 years.

Additionally, four years provides the host country adequate time to plan the logistics of the tournament and how to best accommodate an influx of millions of fans

Why is the World Cup held every 4 years? The World Cup happens every four years in order to have enough time for the qualification tournaments and playoffs among national teams to take place. Additionally, four years provides the host country adequate time to plan the logistics of the tournament and how to best accommodate an influx of millions of fans. As FIFA Football is one of those sports which has many followers, people who couldn't watch it in the stadium stream all the matches online. I'm extremely excited for this year FIFA 2022 as news has been spread that first time ever Referee is going to be the opposite gender. let's see what decision what has been made by them. |
