You mean the Chinese lab where they were working on the weaponization and accidentally let it out?

"Kids are hanging out in the neighborhoods already out in the open. Not that I would take my kids to it but go look at the skyzones and Urban air places. They are packed. In my opinion if the kids aren't going to stay away from each other anyway then an open air soccer scrimmage is relatively low risk compared to what they are already doing." Sounds like a parenting failure. The job of parents is to make the hard calls, not be their kids friend. The problem with you do you and I do me is that it hurts everyone when people continue to carry the virus, or transmit the virus to others, or get sick and overwhelm our healthcare system, just because they didn't have the patience to sit tight for two weeks. Agree. A critical issue is overwhelming the health care systems (which btw causes fatalities in other preventable death situations). It seems in this case that the highest risk is posed by those who don’t feel sick and spread the virus unknowingly. If we all sacrifice and do our part, we will be out of this situation sooner than later.

My son's team and the age group below ours are going to try to scrimmage somewhere (mix up the teams to make it fair) Saturday if we can find a park open. Hoping we can pull it off this Saturday and every Saturday till they open things back up. I have heard they are locking up goals at some of the parks though, but I know of a few private neighborhoods that have field with goals that some of the kids on the teams live in, so we may go there instead. Well, u have to tell your son they must play 4v4 as POTUS stated today to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people. OR you tell your son and his team to learn and practice social responsibility.

www . alt . black . helicopters . com Now back to soccer please folks. ;-) I have a particular background that allows me to read between the lines of what's released to the public. Not on everything, but this one is pretty obvious if you know what you're looking for, or know what's missing from reports.

Just trying to not get into any political tangents by using some humor with a King off the Hill reference.

Gwinnett parks (ball fields at least) now closed. Unsurprisingly after the Mill Creek Park fiasco. “It has become evident” ha, ha!
– March 22, 2020
Ball fields, courts, playgrounds, skate parks and pavilions closed immediately, trails remain open Effectively immediately, Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation park hours are sunrise to sunset and certain areas within parks will be closed in the interest of public health. While parks will remain open to allow residents to enjoy the outdoors during this unprecedented time, it has become evident that restricting access to certain areas of parks is necessary to enforce social distancing guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, dog parks, ball fields, playgrounds, pavilions, sand volleyball courts and skate areas are among the amenity areas within County parks that are closed. Gwinnett County officials ask residents to comply with the closures by obeying posted signage and avoiding locked or cordoned-off areas. In addition, anyone who continues to visit the trails or other open areas in County parks should practice social distancing. Parks and Recreation staff will be communicating with residents who have upcoming reservations at pavilions or other facilities. Anyone who has booked a rental at a county facility can contact the facility to learn their options for rescheduling or receiving a refund. All County parks indoor facilities, aquatic centers and pools were closed a week ago and remain closed, and programs hosted at these facilities have been canceled until further notice.

City of Roswell closed all its parks as of last Friday evening. Originally they said you could still walk and run in the parks (soccer fields were closed and you could not drive in to park) but folks have said the police are there saying you cannot enter the parks at all.

Originally they said you could still walk and run in the parks (soccer fields were closed and you could not drive in to park) but folks have said the police are there saying you cannot enter the parks at all. That is a surprise. Most parks have kept running/walking trails open as it allows for social distancing.
