So in the event that we have no more soccer for the rest of the season. What happens?
I'm disheartened for the boys/girls that may be on the bubble and Mar/Apr was their opportunity to prove and earn/ keep a spot. I know at AU roster cuts (the remaining) was supposed to be in April so players can figure out what direction to go before June tryouts.
How will this change the landscape? Will it?
I just don't think the dust will settle anytime soon. For sure not in the next 2-4 weeks.
I for sure don't want to promote more panic or add to silly season but this does add a whole new element to the process. You and I know when the dust does settle, a mass soccer movement will happen. Our caged animals will hit the fields with a whole different mindset.
Anyways, on my way to try and find toilet paper. (SMH) Looking forward to hearing everyones response/ thoughts.

Yea, going to make for a strange May tryouts.....If they even take place.
I was thinking for DA, it would be the perfect opportunity for next year for the Feds to change their minds and add the separate u16 age group and then expand the u15 age group
I really don't expect for anyone to be back training regularly until at least May -- not even sure if that is going to happen.

yeah i wish they do that as well. It would make it a lot better for sure.
I'm hoping May will be good. A lot of "IF's"

Going to be weird for sure. All those kids who were trying to make an impression this spring, training up, etc.. Get ready for chaos.

Glad mine are done - one in college and one college bound in the fall. It's been an interesting ride.

Maybe, just maybe, we'll all have a little better perspective on it all this year...

For all those parents who are allowing their kids to just lay around ... you all are in for a rude awakening if we make it out of this. This is the time where the kids that are on the bubble can catch up and train harder than their potential counterparts that have "guaranteed" spots.
Of course follow what the CDC is saying, but turn your home into a training ground. Let soccer supplement for PE.

To each their own - some chasing Green Paper, some chasing toilet paper and few chasing Vodka and bleach 🤦🏻♂️

Of course follow what the CDC is saying, but turn your home into a training ground. Let soccer supplement for PE. I think the majority of the top players will be training some. The question is how much and whether the home training is going to help the bubble players much. I know for my two bubble players trying to move up, their technical skills are not what hold them back. It is their APPLICATION of these skills that is the problem. Unfortunately it is hard to fix that training in the basement or small patches of flat land (which is all we have available).

A will, a way, we train every day. Stick to a plan, core, strength, flexibility, rest, repeat. Watch old soccer vids, up that soccer IQ. In 30-45 days big changes can happen. The ones that take advantage will benefit.
