Yea, I replied to that thread -- did they document how that money was actually spent?
That is a lot of cash!
Given we are 1/4 of the way into 2020, and only really Jan/feb of play -- That is basically 2 years of spending 2018 and 2019
that money could have been used to fund ~50% of the costs for every non-mls player across 5 age groups for 2 seasons.
maybe a good chunk was used for that -- I didn't dig threw to look at money was spent.

The Twitter thread had an official looking spreadsheet showing ussf expenses, but there was no page showing income. While I certainly don't think it would show running the BDA and GDA to be profitable, I think seeing the income side would make the finances look a little less dire.
... and I'm in the camp hoping the rumor of DA's going bye bye is true.
