Here’s a requests for a new Sub-board called Politics. Threads with a political theme could be started in there, and threads that get hijacked with politics can be moved there.

kind of like that -- titled - Political discussions that do not belong on a soccer forum....

The issue is temporary IMHO. The politics usually gets out of threads fast. Problem is we have nothing soccer to discuss. There are no games (unless you want to discuss Belarus). There have been no announcements recently (that weren't expected) except UFA ECNL and that was adequately discussed. There is no soccer to discuss. So once we get someone saying anything political it just gets everyone who is bored (that is most of us) going because well...we're bored.

I think we are forgetting some important facts people ...
Look the reality is "99.9% of these kids" do not end up with pro careers in politics anyway.
Besides we all know "the big six" political parties are in it "for the money not about what's best for the constituents.
And NONE of this would have been a problem in the first place except for the "age mandate" that we can't vote until 18!
(my attempt at highjacking a political thread and making it about soccer - how did I do?)
