They have canceled the National Cup, but not the tournaments a month prior which lead to the National Cup? But tey reserve the right to cancel regionals up to 30 days prior to the tournaments. Sounds like a money decision (as in NEEDING the money).

They canceled the Nationals for all US Club (ECNL included) due to the majority of teams having to fly to Colorado. The regionals are still on at the moment as most teams would be able to drive.

But why cancel it so early? We are only in April. Most COVID curves I've looked at show it being very low by the end of May. Nationals is in July...

Big organizations don’t want to be sued because they “forced” teams to fly to Colorado and someone ends up dying from covid-19.

I'm guessing many would "want" to go if the curve holds true.
