With the trickle down from DA into ECNL, if there is an ECNL keeper who is slotted to be a backup, UFA Norcross SCCL1 could use a keeper who will play 100% of the games. We lost our 05 ODP keeper to a move out west. We are a good team who finished 4th in 2019 , but has added some fast midfield talent this spring. We are 1 keeper and 1 striker away from being the best SCCL1 team in Georgia. The UFA Norcross 03 Girls won the SCCL Nationals and the 05 girls are trying to do that. In 2018 they went 0-13-1. Then they added a group from AFU, GSA, and TopHat for 2019 In 2019 they finished 6-5-3 (GREAT improvement in one season). Now, we need a keeper and a striker and maybe one more defender and we can win the SCCL! If you know a keeper who is good, let me know. (Once it's legal to do so of course:)

Now THIS may actually be a good use of a sub-board. Sort of a "help wanted" prior to tryouts. Would be a good place to post the coaches/teams for the upcoming year also.

They would have to figure this out during tryouts and frankly since the parents see through rose colored glasses they may not even realize they are a backup unless 1. Your other keeper is a stud or 2. Its midway thru the season and you're finally realizing it while sitting the bench. I suggest you start your hunt on May 1st, I'm sure one of the few keepers in your forsyth location would like to stop splitting time, especially since a couple new ones are trying out for ecnl which will make it interesting.

Not sure how many new keepers are going to try out for the ECNL team other than current DA/ECNL girl(s), but how many DA keepers want to take a spot on NPL/SCCL unless they had no other choice? Very hard to tryout for multiple teams and if you're strung along all three days then make it as a backup(or not at all) and are left scrambling. Coaches need to be as up front as they can be as quickly as possible. As for the UFA Forsyth 05 keepers, there weren't many(any?) backups last season to split time with.

There was only one goalie on the 05 NPL team and one on the Red team (3rd team at Forsyth). DA had two but they came specifically for DA from other ECNL teams so who knows where everyone is going to go to tryout.

I love your enthusiasm honeybadger but pretty sure GSA 05 SCCL girls went undefeated and qualified for Nationals last season. That team was a complete buzz saw! Good luck on finding a KEEP though. Y’all have a nice team 👍🏼 We did draw with them 1-1 once so we aren't that far away. We also had three starters out with concussions and an MCL when that happened We are close

I heard they got off to a slow start getting use to a new coach and some new players.

Looks like your main need is offense.

We lost 2-0 to TH. Yes , we could use more scoring but keep in mind our Central Striker went down in the first game of the season against GSA and never played again except for 3 games and she scored 3 goals. She had been ECNL at two previous clubs so who knows , she would probably have given us 10-12 goals which would have helped.
Of course , we could always use another striker but we have two fast mids coming in which may allow us to push our best scorer up top. That should help too.
The other thing I’m thinking is this team was thrown together from 5 different clubs , tons of injuries , and still had a winning record.
So yes , getting a solid keeper , and one more striker , and we can finish higher than GSA.

I'd add "hopefully" to the last line.

With all these moving parts going on this year I am sure they will get stronger

Concorde was the most physical team we played by far! We drew 1-1 and lost 2-1. They were very aggressive (a compliment). If memory serves me they are fast up top.
The best passing team in my opinion was GSA. The best team overall GSA. Most physical was Concorde.
