Maybe I'm off base but I assume it will at some point? I've seen posts on other threads mention the idea of Ga, Alabama and Tennessee maybe become the next ECRL region, but some have said Tennessee could be an issue.
I'd assume it would basically equal NPL/SCCL1/NL as far as talent level?
And would ECRL but only at the 5 ECNL clubs?
Would it make more sense for ECRL to be at the same branch as ECNL or at a different branch in order to strengthen the other branches of a club? Seems like the branch of a club that has the ECNL team will have plenty of kids go there for the second team with the hopes of bumping up to ECNL, and it seems the other branch , by offering the "name" ECRL would then gain membership because kids would come to that branch;s second team with the hopes of bumping up to ECRL.
I look forward to everyone's thoughts as I'm sure there's something I'm missing.
For example, in my branch example I'm thinking specifically of UFA. If AFU and GSA soon have ECRL as second team but Norcross only offers SCCL-1 as its top team, I picture the top players from most teams leaving for one of those clubs ECRL team.
That would create very weak SCCL1 teams at Norcross. Am I way off base here?
