Like when Jerry Sandusky was reported??? So, what exactly are you arguing here? Because Sandusky got away with it for years, we should make it easier for that to happen again by removing the school's responsibility?
Also, JoePa isn't a sitting senator.

Also, JoePa isn't a sitting senator. Absolutely not. All I was inferring was that it unfortunately still happens even with it on the books for mandatory reporting of a possible sexual misconduct. I have no idea how Jim Jordan ties into this.

I have no idea how Jim Jordan ties into this. Yes, it still happens.. but this now takes mandatory reporting away, so the universities have no liability. They can just shrug their shoulders (what Jim did with zero repercussions) and say 'not our problem'.
Click the link above for good ol' Gym. He was a wrestling coach at ohio state and blew off all kinds of sexual assault complaints.

Not a surprise that this is from THE Cheater State University. Considering the Chair of the ncaa board of governors is the president of the SuckEyes don’t expect anything to change except maybe the NCAA making more money from their form sports slavery.

I’m wondering if these changes are to protect schools and it’s employees from student on student harassment. As NCAA, professional, and Olympic rules are allowing more and more biological men pretending to be women to compete in women’s sports.., harassment and showering issues will become a much more prevalent problem.
High school girls are suing in Connecticut.
In Montana, a biological man who had won multiple state titles, ran Division 1 cross country and distance track as a male for 3 years as a male, then his senior decided he was a “girl” and competed in the women’s division decimating women’s records. He was named Big Sky Conference Female athlete of the week.
Women’s pro cycling is being dominated by a man as well.
A current female Hawaiian weightlifter lost to a man who competed in professional weightlifting as a male.., then in his late 30s decided he is female and is now competing against real women, stealing a championship from a 19 year old female.
Argentina is I think the first to allow a biological male to play on a women’s team.
Anyway, I see this as a liability issue for the schools so it could be the reason for the changes to Title lX.

However, I do think student on student harassment could be why Title lX rules on reporting are changing.
