Um, I thought the homegrown rule is bad? Doesn't it mean 18 year old players cannot shop their talent to other clubs?
Also, isn't Moultrie from NC? Shouldn't Courage have the homegrown on her? Can't you move somewhere and sign a homegrown contract there?
Lastly, why would anyone WANT to sign a contract with an NWSL club? The minimum salary is 20K (max 50K). If you're that good you can get a free ride through college at a good school. Then come out making more than 50K (or less if you're going to work part time and play soccer part time).
