For some reason I can't find them anywhere. Here is the list as I remember it. Let me know if I'm missing anyone. 1. GSA 2. TH 3. CF 4. UFA 5. SSA 6. AFU 7. AMBUSH 8. ROSWELL 9. BUSA 10. VHSC 11. KNOXVILLE 12.  (SOME merger but don't recall who?) Thought I'd do this just for giggles? These are not my prediction, just making sure I have the list right if anyone needs to correct me. |

I totally guessed based on overall impressions and SCCLp teams,lol. I also didn't realize it was only the 05 group, I would put Roswell higher actually, that team is really good, if they stay mostly intact. AFU was really good too, that's the SCCLp team that won the bracket. They have one striker (who happens to be our neighbor) that has a killer leg, she played ecnl for awhile but dropped down to not travel so much, then was picked for the Puerto Rico national team. She's been training too, I see her running in the neighborhood and try to make my daughter go with, lol. Do you two know something about GSA I don't?  Are they losing some players? They were 11-0-3 last year. |

[corrected] Prediction: 1. UFA 2. GSA 3. Roswell 4. CF 5. AFU I moved up the excellent former Roswell NL team. I’m assuming (with no inside knowledge) that the also excellent former TH SCCL team has been promoted to DPL, and the former middle bracket SCCL P1 team will be promoted to SCCL. * edit |

I'd be surprised if Santos doesn't win the 05 Girls division. Assuming the team stays together. I heard some of them were upset about moving from NL to SCCL.

I have no connection to Roswell but have seen them play.
Roswell will easily win SCCL in the 05 girls bracket and it won’t even be close. Record this and let me know in December if I’m wrong.

Dude. I’ll take that bet right now . We played Roswell many times . I agree , I won’t be surprised if they win it all . They are excellent . But I can tell you right now they don’t walk through this easily . Direct message me on the side and I’ll gladly put a wager on it.
You aren’t giving some of the other teams and girls in this league credit . Yes, excellent team. They can win it.
But walking through this thing , no way . You may want to research what the other top teams are also adding .

Without professional sports this is what we've come to, which U16 soccer team is going to win lol...
I'm sure the top half of SCCL will be highly competitive, and a lot of those games will come down to a goal. I do wonder out loud how some of the smaller clubs are going to compete across the board when say their only U14 team was Classic II or Athena B and thrust into top tier SCCL.

Haha, so this is all assuming that Roswell’s amazing striker returns. I’m shocked she hasn’t left as she would start for any of the local ECNL teams. If she returns then yes they will win the bracket. I’m not predicting undefeated, I’ll give them 1-2 losses but will definitely finish top bracket. |

May as well throw in my top 5.
1. CF (assuming where they are located they are in prime position to get any of the trickle down of TH losing DA).
2. UFA (Based on the new coach, Sergio Magana, and the kids we know are coming in for tryouts).
3. Roswell (unless they lost 2-3 kids, they will be a beast in the 05 group).
4. GSA (they won it last year so I assume there isn't too much shakeup. Does anyone know of any of their kids moving up to ECNL?)
5. AFU (they drop down ECNL players and will be very strong.

I think we might see more movement than that. With the possible loss of NTH players to ECNL clubs and Covid-19 "choice-not playing this season" losses, having to fill TWO GAL teams and DPL with travel ready participants, I predict a massive shift of players upward with a 2 level jump for some age groups. Especially at the older levels where girls start deciding soccer is cramping their social life. |
