This has not even been initiated on a pilot level with ECNL ( to my knowledge). It does not exist.
NPL would be most similar with teams qualifying to play into the ENPL playoffs.

Oh, it was my understanding that CESA and maybe another club left SCCL to join this ECRL.

Oh, it was my understanding that CESA and maybe another club left SCCL to join this ECRL. CESA girls did leave SCCL for ECRL. However they play ECNL in a different region than the Metro Atlanta clubs so their ECRL region does not overlap. There have been rumors on this board about our region getting ECRL but I am thinking next year will be the earliest...if it happens at all.

Not sure about GA but there is a ECRL Carolina league for boys starting at least the U-14 age group. NCFC will have its 3rd and 4th teams in that league. Teams in the league are Wilm Hammerheads, NC Fusion, NCFC(2), CSA(2), CISC(2), CESA and SC United.

Pretty sure that's just the girls side (Carolina ECRL). To date we've not heard mention of boys ECRL.

This could quickly replace NPL/ENPL.

This could quickly replace NPL/ENPL. When and if it happens, I would think that the clubs that have ECNL and NPL...would replace their NPL teams with this.

Which for instance is the case with many of the Florida ECNL clubs. But ECRL doesn't have an ECNL requirement.

I don't think they do it as a requirement, I think they just do it because it makes sense

Right, but for instance Florida girls ECRL has 6 clubs not in ECNL. And I think Ohio Valley just added some non-ECNL clubs.
And IMO that's what ECRL should be, 30-50% more clubs than ECNL.
Interestingly Florida ECRL will start at U11.

Looks like it'll be at a lower level if nothing else.
