Still wondering what contingencies are as know there is a good chance gasoccer will give some sort of green light to start again but if the counties are not allowing organized play, we would still be on hold correct?
Heard yesterday from good source that both Cherokee and Forsyth would prob not allow such till June 1 so cannot see tryouts beginning in May. With that said, would it be straight to tryouts once opened? Any communication from any of the clubs on this?

Ambush sent out something yesterday about tryouts and shooting for end of May through first week of June pending approval of their plan by the city of Alpharetta, so clubs are talking to their respective cities and planning but exact plans aren't public.
To bring you up to speed, starting this past weekend local governing bodies as well as soccer governing bodies began to announce a limited reopening of activities in our area. The City of Alpharetta have announced parks will reopen after Friday, May 15th in a Phase 2 capacity and Georgia Soccer have announced they will not extend the “hold” on return to play after May 15th either. These decisions clear the path for youth soccer clubs in our area to plan limited activities including tryouts keeping in mind appropriate distancing and procedural policies still in place. To be clear, the activity that is still NOT allowed is competition where contact is part of the game. That means no 1 v 1, 5 v 5, 11 v 11, etc., scrimmages, games, or competitions. At this time, we can only conduct non-contact activities both with the ball and without.

This is what I am expecting...noncontact tryouts, parents in cars, possibly even small groups of kids per coach well spread out. I think most parents know the clubs are having to do this depending on what local authorities say is kosher, but an email like what Ambush sent out has not been forthcoming from all clubs. Many are still not communicating at all on this, just posting dates with locations and times "subject to change"

NTH has announced tryouts have been pushed back a week. They posted on FB. I assume all clubs will do the same and start tryouts first week of June at this point.

Thanks for the update. Figured as such but wondered more as to what had been communicated. With that said, I know it has to be very difficult to send updates as everything changes by the day.
