Who's everyone picking? I think it's hard to go against Germany. They have looked so strong. However, anytime Messi is out there good things seem to happen. He is a strategy changer for sure. My youngest girl is a huge Messi fan so she's pulling for Argentina and my oldest's favorite is Mesut Ozil so she's going for Germany. Should be an interesting day in our household. Hope for an exciting game! I'll miss the games for sure but there's one thing I won't miss...
This...have seen this WAY too many times LOL!

Germany has been on cruise control since first half of first match.
3-1 Germany.
Argentina has won, but worked too hard the entire time to get there, and lost DiMaria who looked like their best threat. They're spent. Messi obviously is Messi but there is too much organization in the German defense.
If I'm proven totally wrong, that's alright. I will enjoy watching nonetheless.

I am going with Germany 3-1 as well, but I will not be surprised if Argentina wins. They are much better than one person, but will miss Di Maria if he doesn't play. Also, Mascherano has to play big at center defense mid. IMO, Germany's back line is suspect, but if Neuer/GK continues to play at the same level, I just can't see Germany losing. It will also be difficult for Argentina's back line to deal with Mueller's constant movement. Hopefully it will be a great game.

wow, never seen messi just flat our disappear that much in a game. yes he is brilliant when he gets the ball, but too many times when he didn't have the ball he was just standing. seemed like Sergio Aguero was more of an impact player in the 2nd half -- hence the problem, aquero was terrible!!
growing up i despised the germans. even though i was pulling for argentina, still didn't like seeing sami khedira go down like that. you could see how much he was missed. him and ozil just flat out get it done.
