There are a few rule changes up for a vote this weekend at the general meeting. There doesn't appear to be anything too controversial but I was happy to see a proposed rule change to the forfeiture penalty. I bet clubs outside of Atlanta would like that change. It's tempting to skip that last game of the season if it doesn't mean anything in the standings and it requires a long drive to Savannah or South Georgia.

assessed to the team regardless of other penalty point
accumulations.
There are seven new affiliate applications. Are there typically that many?

I couldn't find info online about Georgia Elite Soccer Academy. Too many clubs pop up when searching for "Georgia Elite Soccer Academy". Maybe they need a more unique name. Apparently all our clubs are elite

Georgia Storm is just Rec for now but I thought their list of locations was interesting - a lot of similarity to the areas covered by SSA.
Kalonji Soccer Academy | Lawrenceville, GA
There's definitely been some buzz about Kalonji no the other forum. A coach left GSA and it sounds like some players from his teams followed. Isn't there a rule that you have to offer rec first and then move on to offering academy and select? Is he looking to bypass the rules?
North Georgia Screamin' Eagles | Gainesville, GA
I hadn't heard of the Screamin' Eagles but I'm glad to hear about them. They're a powerchair football club.
Olympic Atlanta Soccer Club | Atlanta, GA

Smyrna Bulldogs Soccer | Smyrna, GA
Smyrna's going to be a bit crowded with another club being added there.
