Heard this rumor earlier today. Can anyone else confirm? I doubt, if there is no ecrl that would be a major blow as currently second teams are npl out of Fowler. Without npl, would SCCL slide to Fowler?

I think they possible dropped for girls. I could be wrong but the boys side NPL was quite strong.

Are those teams listed by travel partners?

Not a comment on the quality of either league, but I find it a funny perspective that USYS South Atlantic EDP is PA/DE/MD/VA/DC teams and USCS South Atlantic PL is GA/NC/SC/TN/AL

It was South Atlantic NPL before - so South Atlantic National Premier League. They just dropped "National" since it's one conference in the NPL. Not a big deal.. they may change the nomenclature for the other conferences as well.

Are those teams listed by travel partners? I have the same question. Also does anyone know what the 'level' of the teams (boys and girls sides) are? I know for some clubs these might be their 'top' teams but for others maybe not.

Are those teams listed by travel partners? I’m not familiar with what travel partners mean for NPL. Can someone please explain? Thanks

I know for some clubs these might be their 'top' teams but for others maybe not. They have never listed by travel partners before but my guess is yes. For the other poster a travel partner is the team that travels to same away games on the same weekend that you do and hosts the same teams on the return fixtures. There are some new clubs. I don't know the boys side but for the girls the NPL teams are 1st teams for AFC lightning, Chattanooga Red Wolves, Triangle United, Wake North (a branch location so arguably could be seen as a second team since their top team at the main branch is now Girls Academy), San Diego Surf (formerly USA Mt Pleasant). I don't know about Vestavia because they were in SCCL but probably first teams. UFA/SSA are second teams mostly but for SSA some older age groups are first teams.

Question is why does UFA leadership think NPL is even worth participating and further sepearating your teams into a different league. Just play in sccl and then fowler and Norcross will be on equal footing

Whether it’s first or second can vary at the same club. For instance at AFC, below U-15, it was the 2nd team-1st team was DA. Now, I am assuming it will be all 1st team. Going to be an interesting year-if it happens.

Why aren't they listed thusly?
Triangle United/Wake FC (both NC) SC Surf/AFC (SC/GA) UFA/SSC (both GA) Chattanooga/VHSC (AL/TN)

And the other team does as well. Cuts down on the travel by 100 miles or so. For fall ours was held at UFA fields. Didn’t get the return fixture so do remember where it was to be held.
