Why is it an either or? Many places haven't been able to train and still aren't. College coaches may not be allowed to go. Plus some colleges are getting their athletes back this summer and have not seen them in almost 3 months.

ECNL should be called RKL: RKL- Rich Kids League. We were just informed yesterday that our team is moving to ECRL effective immediately. Which will add aprox. 2500 in travel expenses to the already high 3500 league/club fees. 7,000 per season leaves some of the best kids behind....

plaguehornet: Which clubs have given word towards refunds, or at least credits towards the next season? There is strength in numbers, don't let them just isolate one or two families. It's time to hold the clubs accountable.

refundbae: NO TRYOUTS! OK! What about refunds after paid commitment to teams? Which Clubs are offering money back if the fall season is cancelled?

slickdaddy96: Some parents on my son's team balked at paying a placement fee with no info on any credit for the spring would happen & what if any refund policy is going to happen for Fall. The clubs have no clue. They are about to find out with a lot of parent angst.

JumpJumpKeep311: why would there be a credit for the spring season? every club has a no refund policy and i thought most attempted some form of a training season.
May 22, 2020 12:58:18 GMT -5
supporter: Stop whining about refunds and credits! It's not like the money wasn't spent on the club expenses. If the club paid their coaches, then be happy. If the didn't pay staff, then maybe you have a right to whine.

slickdaddy96: Big Booty, you are an idiot dude. I was correct. No one was paying their $150 fee to hold a spot. So guess what SSA did. They put in writing that all money for 2020-21 is refundable and if only a portion of the season is played they will do a pro-rated

slickdaddy96: ...refund based on how many weeks were not played. So obviously I'm not the only one that was irritated. We played 4 games of a 12 games season in spring paying $1500 for a full Fall/Spring season. Our coach was laid off and did not get paid.
May 26, 2020 8:51:09 GMT -5
slickdaddy96: Guess what else Big Booty, SSA is going to give some credit for the spring now if we do not do anything in June/July as far as training or maybe even games go. I don't expect the credit to be huge, but at least they addressed the elephant in the room.
May 26, 2020 8:53:12 GMT -5
slickdaddy96: JumpJumpKeep, SSA did some type of Soccer Profile online garbage. That doesn't equate to 2-3x a week training with a paid coach on the field, and we were not offered a choice to get what we paid for versus that. So this needed to be addressed and they have
