Seriously, friends within the league and in the TV and advertising business, tell me the same thing; it's not looking too promising.
Liga MX just cancelled their season, fall season is TBD at this time.
MLB with a plan in place for sometime now has the optimistic scenario to start on or little after 4th of July with 3-week window 1) get players and owners to agree, 2) get players ready. And even if all that falls into place, cities are all over the place screwing this up at this time.
MLS working multiple plans but there are too many moving pieces to fine tune one and move forward with it. The best and most optimistic plans have already been scratched off due to timeline limitations getting tighter and tighter with each passing week putting more strain on all sides.
At this point will take a miracle for MLS to restart before August if at all.
They will all have to cut their losses. The more likely scenario is for the MLS 2020 season to be played in World Cup type format over a 1-2 month period sometime between late summer to mid Fall.

MLS is in middle of salary renegotiations. The NBA players are dying to get back on the court now, probably because unlike their MLS counterparts they can afford to play for less.
