Are any of you taking your Academy age or U13 players to a tryout tonight/this week? I'd be curious to know where. I also read in another thread that some parents were considering taking their kids to a tryout not to really tryout (I assume already have a place at a club that isn't having tryouts) but to get some touches on the ball and/or scrimmaging in. So if your kid is going, is he/she actually trying out or just getting some extra practice?

Yep. Had a tryout tonight with Small groups of less then 10 players on a quarter of a field. Was pretty good, mostly new players. Probably 2/3 new and 1/3 returning.

I've seen tryouts at GSA South for the past week but we haven't attended one.
