I know a team that need an 03 GK SCCL P1 Thanks for the offer. Our current club has offered us an SCCL spot already. We were hoping to play higher. If we can't find a spot then we will sign the SCCL offer at our club. As of now that what we might have to do based on most top teams having their top team's finalized

I'd email every ecnl coach in the city -- worth throwing your hat in the ring.

If you don't get an ECNL offer, I can check with Sergio Magana at UFA Norcross on his 03 GK status. It's not ECNL status but he's one of the best coaches in Georgia, and his 03 SCCL-C team won the US Club Nationals and beat ECNL teamsmore than once.
If he needs one, and she is good enough, he can get her a college offer.

According to my daughter she doesn't want to leave her goalie coach. Guess it is true, if you are angry wait 24 hours and then see how you feel. She cares more about her education then soccer so she believe she can still get a DIII or a lower DII offer in SCCL

I am glad her anger settled down. I am sorry she had that heartache. For 03 it has to be hard now because of the combined age groups. What if there are 3 awesome goalies for a team that by some misfortune used to be on separate teams (01/02 and 03 last year and now all are 02/03)? It could happen at any age but that final age group makes it tough!

It's the talent of the kid + grades+ the connections the coach has + desire that will get you the scholarship. For example, if this 02/03 ECNL keeper wants to save money and still go to college, she can get a D1/D2 offer as a GK out of SCCL. Think about what parents spend on 6 hyears of ECNL only to still get a D2 offer (or worse yet, burn out by the time they are U17 because mom and dad send them all over Atlanta 6 nights a week) , when they could spend a fraction of that, get a D2 partial, and come out ahead in long term spending.
