Below are the membership fees for U.S. Club and SCCL along with links. Anyone now how this compares to Georgia Soccer? Helps to understand where your tuition dollars are going. What does the performance bond cover? and is it refunded if all requirements are met at the end of the season?

This is copied straight from Ga Soccer.
2019-2020 fees
Recreational 4U-8U: $8 Recreational 10U-19U: $11.75 RIAS 10U-19U: $12.25 Academy 9U-12U: $24 Academy 9U-12U Inter-Scheduled: $30 Select 13U-19U: $35
I don’t believe there are any team fees, only team fines.

Can we clarify again the performance bond? is this per team or per club?
Looks like US Club for ecnl boys and girls is bringing in around $1.5 million in registration fees. Now add in ECRL, SCCL, NPL and other regional leagues across the country -- my guess is that number doubles.

No idea about the performance bond. This was straight from sccl website.

The cost of a performance bond is typically about 1% of the obligation so a $5000 bond would cost about $50. With that low of cost, I think that it is per team.

No idea about the performance bond. This was straight from sccl website. Could also be a “good faith deposit” as well...but I’m not sure of the reason to purchase one for a soccer team...is that the forfeiture if you fail to field a squad?

Surely there is a per-team fee for GA Soccer or USYS. Otherwise the clubs have been eating WAY more of our cash prior to SCCL.

The tuition difference can also be seen at games (below). Games are scheduled by the league. No half dirt elementary school fields like with GA soccer. HOME teams will provide the following: BENCHES, TENTS and WATER/CUPS/ICE An SCCL A Frame will be present at each FIELD for all SCCL matches (at midfield in between team benches).
Fields Home Team Responsibility: The Home team is responsible for the condition of the playing area including the proper field markings, and proper equipment - Nets and corner flags are required. If the referee determines that the field is not playable due to improper conditions (unrelated to weather), then the home team will forfeit the match and be responsible to absorb the full cost of referee, assignor and field rental fees.

Surely there is a per-team fee for GA Soccer or USYS. Otherwise the clubs have been eating WAY more of our cash prior to SCCL. No team fee through Ga Soccer. Georgia Soccer does pays $2 for Player insurance, $1 to U.S. Soccer and $2.25 to U.S. Youth Soccer for every player. And yes clubs take a lot of money. Remember every DOC type coach makes closer to $100K, then $50K.

Right. But our club fees didn't go up (or not much) from Athena A to SCCL. The clubs are losing around $30 per player to play in US Club...and yet are making the switch.
