My youngest will be doing the NASA tourney as usual but my oldest is traveling to Asheville, NC to the Riverside Summer Shootout. Never heard of it before but should be decent temps as it's in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not sure what other ones either of them are doing in August if any.

We did Riverside at U11 - great fields and weather!!!! Good competition too - it's nice to start out of town

Anyone else going to the RYSA Kickoff Classic this weekend and annoyed they put most of the 11v11 games down in Hampton at North Mt Carmel Park?

they must get paid well, because it seems like every big tourney uses mt carmel park fields. its a good facility, many fields. i was very impressed with the fields for nasa this past weekend, noonday over all was very good. grass was nice and short, a few bad spots, but would give them an A- only because some of the fields seem a tad short.
