I have a friend whose considering taking his kid to KSA. He asked me about Bruno, and I’ve heard good/bad but don’t know him. Has anyone had any interactions with him?

I think you've answered your own question. ...well, I’d like to get some feedback from someone who has dealt with him, if possible. PM me if you have.

I’ve never worked with him but I’ve heard enough positives to know he’s one helluva coach. The admin/director parts though are not the greatest, but he can coach and develop with the best of them.

The Bruno factor at KSA is a Cautionary tale which at its best is: A: Practice field training - player development and game preparation 1: Individual development in Physical (Fitness), Technical and Tactical aspect - No club level that I witnessed trains harder through any type of weather better than KSA top teams 2: No excuse practices - Practices are high tempo and player output as one would execute in a game team discipline and team chemistry during practices and games by far the best, we have witnessed and experienced. -Players will leave the practice field soaked in sweat with no time limit on when practices ends... IF Parents and players approve, they can stay as long as they can compete effectively with the next older group coming on the field for practice. B: KSA and their top teams win and win often as a small club C: Talented players seem to flow in every year and leave better (paying players seems to rotate out regularly)
The Bruno factor at KSA at its WORST: Parent interaction and communication constant problem
A: Small/limited Coaching stable B: Club lacks organizational structure C: Very few sponsors - always the need for club teams to do more for venue (donations) D: limited and restrictive home fields E: Small Club with a large club spending – club and team financials are ALWAYS an issue -Travel and seasonal team expenses – top teams carry the burden of covering the costs of club sponsorship players that at times outnumber paying players 3 to 1 ( 67% of the team we knew had hardship players on it with 37% paying 100% of the team costs plus F: Second tier and lower teams are not as good as their group selection in Ga Soccer. G: Off the field the pitch, its highly Questionable in regards of Administration, Operational and fluid communication among parents. Coaches and club – at times, its dysfunctional in its seasonal planning and execution. H: Club Traveling and cost: dysfunctional and highly unorganized – WORST I have seen and experienced 1: Costs through the roof, 2: Mass Cluster F.. k – Near ZERO accountable 3: near ZERO preplanning and follow through, 4: Horrid communication with knee jerk results with parents 5: Hurry up and wait is the norm for departure and arrival times for team movements **Example: team bus is scheduled to leave at 700am, expect a 90 min – 2 delay every time
The list can be longer, but I believe you guys get the point…
**WORST aspect of KSA and staff is simply their self-destructive parent interaction and the constant pressure by Bruno on paying parents which are the minority in shouldering more of the club and team cost.
Will your Son/Daughter improve w/o a doubt but the cost and experience along the way will truly be a test of your will power and patience.

That’s a pretty amazing first person summary of many things that have been speculated for years.
