Please select one or two coaches from the options above whom you would like to see as the next Head Coach for Atlanta United. Those are the names seen mentioned the most on blogs and forums. Realistic or not, I'm curious on everyone's thoughts in a perfect world, only excluding currently employed coaches of the top teams in the top European leagues. If you select other please drop a coach's name with your answer.

Bielsa just managed Leeds from the Championship to PL. Pretty sure he isn’t going to jump ship at this point. But he gets my vote.. by a mile.

Part of a convo I had with Jason Longshore. I asked him about Poch, Bielsa, and Marsch possibly taking over for Atlanta United.
“He'd (Poch)be outstanding, but I think he has ambitions of getting one of the top European jobs. I love his way of thinking about the game. You never know, but I'd say it's a long shot. “
“Thanks so much (Bogan)! Back to a normal week on Soccer Down Here, with shows starting at 9am each day. Jon & I will be calling the 2's match on Wednesday on ESPN+.
Marsch is starting to get some interest in the Bundesliga, I think he'll see where that goes. I love Bielsa, but he'll almost certainly take Leeds into the Premiership.
My guess is you have a list of long shots, people you'd love to get but are not necessarily likely. You have a list of people who are available right now. And, you have a list of people who you think are attainable but currently employed. It will be very interesting to see where it goes.”

Whomever they pick they'll stand by him all of 2021 at least if not longer. So I'd rather wait with an interim coach like Tony for awhile, and give them time to get the right guy, instead of who's available now.

There is so little of a chance we get any of these managers, I can’t help but select Other. Off the absolute top of my head, Massimiliano Allegri would be a tremendous fit as a man manager who allows for personal freedom of play while also being an excellent motivator and employing an attacking style of play. He’d be another huge long shot, though, and likely wouldn’t want to make the move stateside. I’ll definitely get abuse for this but you know who would be a solid fit? Our old friend Jurgen Klinsmann. Always thought he’d (eventually/outside of Bayern Munch) be a better club manager than national team guy. Again, he has an attacking philosophy of play, enjoys trying to motivate his players, and allows for the personal freedom from his playmakers that our current crop need in order to succeed. If his Spanish is up to par, I think he could be a solid medium to long term fit with our current infrastructure and back office. I think he could help bridge/gel the gap between being a hugely South American influenced team into a fully North/South American balanced team with a versatile style of play. Quickly, a couple other names I’d like to see considered: Ante Razov (attacking Philosophy, MLS experience), Vincenzo Montella (if anyone could get even more out of Josef, it might be him), Gabi Heinze, or someone young, American, and multilingual who can motivate and support their players to the best of their efforts. Think Josh Wolff if he wasn’t already attached to Austin FC

Last I saw Pochettino was making about 8.5 million pounds a year and not even coaching -- he will be extremely expensive, not sure how it would be possible

Phil Schoen had an interesting take:
“...Not sure of a specific candidate, but I hope it's someone who picks the right players, gives them the concept, and then lets them play.”
