Assuming this isn’t true. I had heard rumors in the past that they wanted to take a year off after DA fell apart. from: talking-soccer.com/TS4/showthread.php?t=164456They just dropped out the entire season/league. Will rejoin for the 2022 season. They are actively working to place their players in local clubs. But seriously - how are these mls academies going to play (the ones not in ecnl). If I were an mls club - I’d put every top team in ecnl. But then another issue - do you really want to host youth soccer games at your facility.

Ouch - our old director at UFA Norcross (Roberto Sibaja) left summer 2019 to join Orlando City's academy program. What would those coaches do for a year?

Ouch - our old director at UFA Norcross (Roberto Sibaja) left summer 2019 to join Orlando City's academy program. What would those coaches do for a year? Roberto started out as an Academy(U19) coach and was quickly moved to replace the fired USL coach and I believe he's still on that side of the program... Also, I was under the impression that Orlando City SC had two arms within their youth academy. One was the traditional Pro Academy aka Atlanta United, while the other was very similar to a UFA/GSA youth academy(non-pro), but still within or under the banner of Orlando City SC . Have we gotten confirmation as to which one is being discussed here?

Assuming mls academy
But have to assume this isn’t true unless anyone else has heard from another source besides talking soccer.
I exhausted my twitter search and came up empty - if twitter doesn’t have a tweet about it - it’s has to be fake news......
But seriously - when was the last time something “hapeened” of significance and twitter was silent?

I have confirmed that the Pro-Academy side of the house is gearing up and is alive and well. Then again, a few months earlier, this is how the demise of DA begun...

He was always great to me in the one year we crossed paths at UFA.

Makes you think their older team will comprise much of the Orlando City B team in USL league one -- Team was pretty bad last season, and Roberto definitely got thrown to the wolves having to coach that side.

Still can't figure out for the life of me how the Orlando B team is in USL-1 instead of USL-C like AU2, but then again, it is Orlando...
