GSA 2W AFU 1W-1L UFA 2W LOL how do you even make a prediction for AFU when as of right now there is only one opponent listed for them. 2nd game is against "U13 TBD #2". Is that predicted to be the win or loss for them ? I just wanted to give you a hard time. I can appreciate your desire to at least spark some soccer conversation.

which TH team is going gold or navy? Both. Navy is playing in the ECRL bracket.

which TH team is going gold or navy? Concorde isn't participating? Participating in the SSA tournament instead.

Hmmm. It seems like you would have better competition in an ecnl tournament considering Concorde has two ecnl teams.
However ... with COVID-19... I understand.

Between CESA and Concorde?
Was it based on CESA jumping ship on SCCL (where they really didn't do very well) to the higher-profile ECRL league? I think most SCCL families would jump to ECRL if given a choice, and hopefully 2-3 ATL clubs start that transition this spring, even if it angers the leadership in SCCL.

Sorry, I should have clarified, between CF/NTH...

Could it be that some clubs simply have better relationships with other clubs? Contrary to popular opinion MOST clubs typically choose tournaments based on relationship rather than quality of competition. Of course there some exceptions based on the quality and aspirations of the team. Realistically IMO SCCL is on par with ECRL (quality of soccer). They actually perform the exact same function and under the same organization US CLUB. Why do you say ECRL is higher profile?

Most of SCCL is the 2nd team of clubs in the ECNL or first teams of smaller clubs trying to move up.

The leagues are equal, agreed. The difference is purely in branding. One is a national brand and the other is a local brand. So guess which one has more perceived traction? People will pick it due to the name alone, not necessarily because its a superior product.
For the same reason UFA/SSA NPL get many of the players cut/not offered by ECNL prior to those players trying out for SCCL. ECRL == NPL == SCCL overall, but even Florida/North Carolina replaced NPL with ECRL. It would help the participating clubs recruit/acquire more players from the SCCL/NL/GA Soccer ranks. Everywhere else in the US there has been forming a pyramid of sorts (National/Regional/Local), no reason for GA/AL/TN to not join that pyramid, especially so long as NTH stays to their own sandbox instead of recruiting other GA clubs to join, which would start to fracture things again further.
Additionally, while the power/control in SCCL may benefit some clubs a lot, other clubs are simply tossed around in the wake of the clubs in control. ECRL removes some control from those local clubs to a nationally-headed platform. SCCL club should be a 3rd level local platform like SCCL-P was last year IMO.
