D'oh! So we played SCCLP all last year and never knew this rule existed (unless they just came up with it?). Thanks. Problem, of course, is that it's not communicated to the TM's as an SCCL rule. So who knows what your opponents will wear each game. The TMs should have been advised by the club’s SCCL director each game, which color uniforms to wear. That was one of the perks of the club based schedules. Every team from each club was to wear the same color uniform. They coordinated to ensure both clubs didn’t show up in white. Issues were with individual teams that for some reason or another didn’t get them memo. We still have situations where TMs don’t read rules of tournaments and note home is light and away is dark and their team follows their own club’s uniform choice. Not sure how to fill out the poll or respond since we have only had one jersey to wear at our first 4 games. Received our "dark" jersey at tonights practice. I hate new uniform years...

I'm just glad SSA shifted from white uniforms to light yellow ones. Very rare for a light yellow to conflict with anything. we have a two-toned royal/navy blue one as well now which looks a little like the old blue one they wore every year previous.

Hold on a minute - are you seriously making fun of baseball uniforms in a soccer forum? Need I remind you of the absolute CRAP that soccer teams have worn over the years? When they show those nostalgic clips of old soccer players, especially in the U.S., I am always amazed at how awful those things look. And how about the advertising on soccer uniforms? Don't get me started. Don’t even have to go old school to see crap-tasticly ugly kits. Just look at gsa’s Parkview Orange and Brookwood Maroon kits. 🤮🤮🤮 We have Hamby and Carithers to thank for that.

I understand some people hate those uniforms, but my daughter loves them. She wants to wear them more than the red/black stripes and the white. Actually the white is her least favorite, and from listening to her teammates they all seem to agree.

We have friends out of Dacula/North and they love the White kit the most, especially the socks. Just shows you that everyone’s taste is different and why every club should have four kits to please everyone. Hahaha

My daughter refers to the white/red socks as clown socks and says she feels like she should be in a circus wearing them. Maybe it is just a girl thing, but she especially hates the white shorts. If they could wear the black shorts with the white jersey I think she would be fine. Going all the way back to U8 she has never liked the white.

A lot of kids hate white shorts because they're almost see through normally.. and totally see through when wet. Also - they look dirty a lot.

Oh yeah that’s just preference as this is a group of HS aged girls. Though even my HS players love their white kits. So much better then a lot of the boring reds and blues but it does depend on the quality.

We should go to a reversible jersey. White on one side, team color in the other. Team color shorts/socks. Boom, just saved $$ in uniform fees.

Along the white uniform point I will say UFA grey might as well be white as far as being see through when wet, especially the shorts, as we learned this morning.
