This has nothing to do with soccer-so I apologize upfront-but in this crazy upside down year, and mud slinging political ads and debates, I found this article quite amusing and wanted to share.

It may not seem entirely plausible, but there’s a dark horse presidential candidate from Fall River who is poised to give the sitting president a run for his money on Nov. 3.
Oliver Winston Churchill Finelli has been attracting supporters ever since a red, white and blue election sign with white stars was erected in front of his Montgomery Street house in The Highlands.
If he manages to upset Trump’s reelection bid, Finelli, who is known among friends and followers simply as Oliver, will be the first U.S. president from Massachusetts to hold office since John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
He’ll also be the first dog to sit in the Oval Office.
His campaign managers are Marcee and David Finelli, who along with their children Koltinn, 12, and Dakota, 14, live in a modest home with a large yard where Montgomery Street ends and merges with Chestnut Street.
The couple said they haven’t conducted a formal poll but are convinced that grassroots support will play a major role.
“Based on what we’ve seen in the past couple weeks he’d probably win,” David, 54, said.
The double-poled sign in front of the Finelli homestead bears the image of the family’s white, 3-year-old goldendoodle alongside the words “Oliver 2020.”
Beneath that in smaller letters is what has become Oliver’s campaign slogan: “Because people suck.”
