Just heard the the Disney jr has been canceled. Anyone else have that info? My fingers are crossed the older ages get canceled as well- it would be amazing not to have to go down there over the holidays this year

Been hearing rumors both Jr and older Disney’s were cancelled for some time. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Jr’s got pushed to the spring but that’s just speculating on my end.

Expected it as much.. they've been using that location for all the pro stuff (MLS, NBA, etc)

They took our entrance fee and registration in August Interesting. I heard a long time ago that it was not likely to happen so I know some teams from our club did not sign up. |

Couple weeks ago I was talking to the mom of some of one my daughter's friends who is the team manager for a NPL 02/03 team. They are planning to go to Disney, but at that time, their acceptance had not come through. I think she said that they had delayed accepting any teams, but I could have heard her incorrectly.

The Girls HS aged Disney is over MLK weekend in January so with how Desantis has rushed open FL they might be holding it. I mean that is in between the college bowl game season and the Super Bowl in Tampa and Disney is all about the money. |

Disney has already cancelled their big marathon weekend that was scheduled to take place the week before the girls MLK weekend tournament. I know the logistics of a big race weekend are probably a lot more difficult than a soccer tournament. Disney is still limiting the number of guests in the parks and hotels. I would be surprised if they suddenly wanted a few thousand extra people showing up, but nothing surprises me these days.

We were told U15-up Disney tourney is canceled by our coach ... going to SCCL Cup instead. Sucks.

Usually SCCL and SCCL-P teams go to Disney. At least Tophat, UFA, SSA teams went the past two years. Maybe not every team at every age group but most did. UFA NPL and SSA NPL too. SCCL cup would not be much of an event if a ton of teams went to Disney instead. |
