She is the senior goalie for the SEC Champion soccer team. She kicked off the second half and totally kicked like a soccer goalie.

Almost looked like they meant to do that, maybe catch them off guard or possibly not allow her to be blocked after the kick or risk having to tackle...

It was a called squib kick, designed to not be returned. Happens if you’re concerned about their returner or not confident in your kickoff coverage.

My daughter says as a goalie, she gets a lot more contact in a game than any punter or kicker. True.

Not sure why they stay in the SEC-they have always been at the bottom of the barrel. |

I know-just giving Vandy a hard time. They are generally excellent in baseball, and it appears they are good at soccer as well. They are best known for their academics. I always thought they’d move over to the ACC (like GA Tech did). |
