I'm a fan of womens soccer at the youth, collegiate, and professional level.
Am I the only one who stuggled to follow the NWSL this season? Am i right that a game was on last night at 11:00 pm est? Is that really a smart thing to do? 11:00 pm kickoff EST on a sunday night?
am i missing something here?

I think they pretty much cater to the local constituencies, so a west coast game is scheduled with west coast fans in mind. MLS seems to do same thing. Did you know the championship game seems to be set for this Sunday at 3pm on ESPN2?

i guess your right its a local niche audience, but seems foolish from a TV revenue standpoint, but maybe that is the only time espn wanted to film the game. usually the tv guys dictate kickoff times.
