Man United got thrashed by milton keynes dons, no idea who that is....

I think LVG put that squad out there to make a point. He wanted to win of course but I think he wanted those players to prove to him and management they had sufficient quality. Welbeck and Chicharito couldn't get a goal against a third division side?!! Now management knows what LVG has been telling them. They need to spend a lot more cash before the end of this transfer window.
What I think is fascinating though is the perception of this side now. Last season the manager was an incompetent wimp. This season the team has insufficient quality. Gotta hand it to LVG for the sell.
