NCAA oversight committee is recommending another extension of recruiting period again until at least may 31. Announcement likely within the next 1-2 days

Funny how it is ok for D2, D3 and NAIA coaches to talk with and see and invite players on campus but not safe for D1?

Yeah, this doesn't make sense. That means current juniors haven't talked in person to a college coach, and seniors haven't seen one in person since their junior year.
It's almost like they're trying to tourniquet D1's strength in recruiting. Maybe there's some $$$ changing hands between the lower divisions and the NCAA admins to keep this farce going.

Its not just not talking with the coaches. Many of the commits havent had official visits (daughters college group chat is all up in arms about it) which if you are fortunate enough to be that good is one of the things to enjoy, savior and have the thrill of getting the offer.
