Lose 3-0 to a USL side (Louisville)...who were short on personnel...team manager played...and scored.

“ It's not a straightforward result to assess but losses like the 3-0 defeat FC Cincinnati took against Louisville City FC won't go far in winning over the hearts and minds of FCC's supporters.
Details of the scrimmage were few and substitutions were many during the closed-door contest on Saturday at the Mercy Health Training Center in Milford.
Further complicating any attempt to assess the performance was that FC Cincinnati's monied, first-division roster had been in preseason training for less than a week when the scrimmage kicked off while second-division Louisville had been in training for at least five weeks.
In post-game remarks released by FC Cincinnati, head coach Jaap Stam described what sounded like a decidedly unpolished performance by his side...”

Not surprised. I think silverbacks drew with Atlanta United 0-0 back in 2017 in a closed scrimmage.

Yes that is a bad look for FCC, however, Louisville City is no slouch either. Yes they play in the USL but if pro/rel was a thing, they'd be perennially promoted. What I find intriguing is how they were able to get on the preseason roster for FCC, Nashville SC, Austin FC and the Houston Dynamo. Now that is an impressive pre-season schedule...
BTW: They play FCC again on April 7th...

If they are on all of those schedules and they prove themselves it looks like it could work.

Louisville has been training for five weeks. FCC for one. I wouldn’t read too much into a scrimmage.

Yea - seems like a no brainer, no top level professional sports teams, which seems crazy.

Hey they do have a cook stadium though... That’s all that matters, right? 🤷🏻♂️😬 Well, that and cheap adult beverages...

It is great from the outside. Wonder what it like inside where the fans actually sit.
