FootyFan You are going to make me do research aren't you LOL Or I can just wait until the chips fall where they do. So much soccer left before the end of May. My only point is ... it is NOT as easy as saying ECNL regional will simply "be" the SCCL Club level. Too many moving parts in NPL/SCCL Club AND the DPL announcing it is the "official" second level to GA League. OraclesFriend .... so so so much UFA grumbling lol 100%!! Put a check in front of 2021 tryouts. It's total chaos. Yet again.

Logically it would seem like they will drop NPL but wondering if there's more being planned.

You have to assume they will not field a team in SAPL unless there is significant expansion over the next few months. If SCCL just becomes ECRL they need two teams for them to break even in that change (1- NPL and 1 - SCCL-C). If they did GA and DPL that takes care of their 1st and 2nd team placement but are they willing to make a change out of the ECNL platform? Can you share the UFA grumbling you have heard?

Should be interesting -- if any club locally is adding ecnl regional league they should have add a virtual town hall meeting to discuss with their members. It's all about the $$$$

How long until ECNL girls make the same announcement? Also, will be interesting when the announcement about teams comes out?

UFA first to announce
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Cumming, GA (March 26, 2021) - United Futbol Academy (UFA) is thrilled to announce our acceptance into the Boys ECNL Regional League - Southeast for the 2021-2022 season in the U13 to U19 age groups. UFA is always looking for more and better competition for our players. The ECNL is the nation’s leading youth soccer development platform. They respect the individuality of every player, helping them unleash their unfettered passion and fierce tenacity in striving to achieve their potential. UFA Executive Director of Soccer, Iggy Moleka states, "UFA is very excited to participate in the ECNL Regional League. After a good first year in ECNL, it will be a great opportunity for more of our players to participate in a league that is always asking our players to be more. We like to rise to the challenge and provide the best for our players." UFA's mission is in line with the ECNL mission to Raise the Game, a total commitment to create the best possible environment for players. Like them, we strive to lead and keep our eyes on new horizons.

I'm guessing a few of the local clubs planned and released the news at the same time.

Huge impact - club like Concorde, you assume will get 2 teams in league. Yikes... SCCL top team could possible be 4th team.
This is conjecture and would be interesting if other clubs parlay multiple teams.

This is conjecture and would be interesting if other clubs parlay multiple teams. I doubt Concorde gets two teams in ECRL with 2 teams being in ECNL. Concorde does not have the depth for 4 teams about the SCCL Club level (or really any club for that matter).

Not sure how valid it is either but I wouldn't be surprised if they made the change.
