This was one of the rumored reasons Roy Williams retired from UNC yesterday....its the wild wild west now and transfers can lead to quicker winning than incoming freshmen.

Doesn’t this actually help the 2021 and 2022 recruits in the long run. They have not had the chance to visit schools and coaches have not had the chance to see the kids in action live so kids are going to fall through the cracks or a kid may make the wrong choice thinking they were getting one thing and ending up with something else. This gives the kids an ability to correct those mistakes without plentiful they realize they chose the wrong school.

Only a one time immediate transfer? Student athletes should be able to come and go when ever they want as long as their scholarships are not guaranteed and their coaches are allowed to come and go when they want.
This is a start but more needs to be done to completely rehaul/abolish the ncaa.

Exactly. Once again a case where people like the rules until (in this case) players start actually using the rules to their benefit. In the end.....things even out in the wash. Why people get so worked up about the decisions of kids I will never know. It’s their lives. Let em live !
