At what age do you begin attending college camps for the purpose of exposure and recruiting for your child?

Go early, and get them used to doing them.. at young ages it's just good training and competition even if the coaches aren't really looking at them. HS age is when it starts mattering.

Remember colleges use the camps ds $ makers. If your kid gets a blanket invite without their name the college is likely not interested except forvthe money. If they are personally invited the Coach is likely intrrested. The top leagues will have showcase opportunities. College cosches will attend these as they will have all the top players in one location. This saves on travel expenses and time.

I've started reaching out to select D1 schools to let them know about my currently unborn grandchildren. Also reserved spots at TH and CF for future use.

Make a list of at least 15 schools of interest. That's what we've been encouraged to do by a person with a daughter who played at a D1 school and graduating this spring. We made our list based on good music and decent soccer programs.
You'd be surprised on what schools are considered D1.
