It all started with a chance meeting with Werner Fricker while Payne was running ski tournaments and his local HOA in Aspen. We've been suffering thru his failed pro league and alphabet soup youth leagues ever since. He's right up there with Don Garbage

discussed before
US clubs 2019 990 has $4,569,028 going to C2S acquisition LLC, Myrtle Beach SC I'm assuming this money goes to Lavers and Payne and maybe for some other marketing items...
US Club had 13 million in revenue in 2019 and 12 million in total expenses - what are they paying for? fields at showcases? (do teams pay to enter showcases??) refs? insurance? balls? website maintence? office personal? ... ... ... ..
Just trying to figure out how they magically spend all our money.....

C2S was bought by CSM (https://www.csm.com/about-csm) which is part of Chime Group aka Chime Communications Limited (https://www.chimegroup.com/offices/csm-head-office/ ) Which was purchased buy Providence Equity Partners in 2015. Providence owns MLS Media Parents' money goes through their clubs to US Club leagues that then funnel the money to a large marketing and branding conglomerate so that the leaders of US Club have shares/seat at the table with a bunch of Lords in England. Makes me even more frustrated that the state associations are so inept. That said, they are competing with a $50 billion enterprise for the rights to sell a brand to parents. Nothing to do with soccer, or a child's development of soccer skills. Players 1st. LOL.
