I guess I'd rather have pre-pre-tryouts than having NO tryouts. I hate that every club decides to conduct pre-pre tryouts and tryouts on the same days. Looking forward to the cluster f#*k. It's always so much fun <sigh>

Ecnl id camp for concorde is may 2 NOT tomorrow. As for the 08 I believe Concorde platinum has the most technical team.

I’m not sure if players were contacted individually or what the deal is. This is girls. There is ALSO the May 2 one - although I suspect by then most spots will have already been filled. |

There is ALSO the May 2 one - although I suspect by then most spots will have already been filled. Hmmm. Seems CF thumbs their nose at every rule. I believe they can get around it because the Premier players are still technically CF players. |

I would think recruitment means the coach can’t reach out to you yet - but there are plenty of coaches that are currently taking calls. I also know non-CF players attending tomorrow (specifically from TH) so I am guessing the parents reached out to the coach, but you never know. |

But they're not coming to the one on the 25th. Maybe the one on the 2nd. Hopefully, they do go to CF and break up that Super Team! |

Sorry I was talking about ECNL and SCCL games. I think GA and DPL are done with games. I heard through someone else, so it’s rumor, that a couple of non CF players asked to come this ID camp since they would not be available next weekend. |

I called the person I heard this from, and they are 100% going tomorrow to GSP, and they are not a current member of CF. They reached out to someone a couple weeks ago and they were informed of the session tomorrow and told they can attend. That's all I know, but for sure they are not a current CF player and they are invited to attend tomorrow. |

Also, rule only applies to current players in that league. CF cannot host ECNL players from other clubs for an ECNL ID camp but can host GA, DPL, NL, NPL and SCCL players according to ECNL rules. |

It’s interesting that AFU scheduled the ID camp for May 1st and 7th when their ECNL teams (and coaches) will be in SC on the 7th. Correction, I think it might just be ‘07 and ‘08 in SC that weekend.

Dont forget that recruiting is also done by current players returning to a team. Coaches may have a date they may contact a player, players do not. As its been said again and again, bu u13/u14 or u15, its widely known who the best players at each are. They've been playing since u6.
